Vision & Ethos

Our Vision

WE:

VALUE every child in our care and its achievements with an emphasis on developing core manners and respect.

CELEBRATE achievement and success: providing many opportunities to recognise and appreciate the accomplishments of our whole school community.

EQUIP children with the skills, knowledge and understanding essential to become responsible citizens.

EMPOWER our children to develop self belief and confidence to be able to tackle any challenge.

INSPIRE our children to have high aspirations and encourage them to be role models and to inspire each other.

Ethos

For a child, every moment is the time of exploration and discovery.

For a child, curiosity is inherent and unravelling mystery is integral.

At Broadwood Central School, we love to guide our young minds to discover, and then cherish the excitement and wonder in the eyes of them. We allow their imaginations to rise up to the horizon whilst guiding them towards a journey that promises learning and development. We believe in providing them the space to express themselves, in their own unique ways.

This is all possible because of the team that adheres to a unique educational philosophy. Recognizing our roots, the name Broadwood reflects the allegiance to the place where this idea originates; with all the founders belonging to the city itself.

We look at school and education as venues of personality and cognitive development. For this purpose, we value diversity and encourage plurality of ideas and expressions. Which in turn guarantees a future that is tolerant, peaceful and progressive. Our objective therefore is to provide our children with a safe space to explore multitudes of ideas with no obstacles to freedom of expression. Whether it’s the exploration of the meanings behind the tunes of musical instruments, or a disagreement on a very generic idea or curiosity that seeks to diminish the darkness of traditional ideas, we promise a place that grooms individuals seeking to discover their own individuality while ensuring that universal ideas are practiced and implemented.

Understanding that the potential of their young minds is unlimited, we provide them with a program that combines the love of their roots with modern ideas while supporting their holistic growth as they chase their dreams. We believe that the young minds are the best places to promote critical thinking and the love for science; in order so that in future, they create whatever they can fathom.
