Debating

Debating is a valuable and exciting skill that can help children develop their critical thinking, communication, and public speaking skills.

At Broadwood Central School, we want our students to have the opportunity to engage in debates and learn how to express their ideas and opinions persuasively. Our debates curriculum is designed to introduce primary students to the art of debate, including the preparation, structure, and delivery of a convincing argument. Through hands-on activities and practical exercises, students will learn how to research and organize their ideas, present their arguments effectively, and respond to opposing views.

The debates curriculum will help students build their confidence, enhance their communication skills, and become informed and responsible citizens who can make a positive contribution to society.
