Why Assessment?
Assessments play a crucial role in placement of SWDs (students with disabilities) as well as setting goals and designing instruction. Our assessment services help therapists, teachers and parents to understand current level of child’s functional and educational performance and help tailor an effective therapy and education program.
Our assessments include:
Cognitive Assessment
It is used to measure thinking abilities such as memory, language, reasoning and perception. Our cognitive assessment services help parents, teachers and therapists to understand and utilize the cognitive functioning of C.W.D and then assess accordingly.
Behavioural Assessment
It helps to identify the target behaviours which need modification treatment goals and causal variables. The results of a behavioural assessment can help parents, teachers and therapists to identify the target behaviours, goals and intervention strategies for C.W.D (Children with disabilities).
Educational Assessment
To help you identify autism in children at an early age, which can allow for early intervention and support. The earlier a child with autism receives support, the better the outcomes in terms of developing social skills, communication skills, and cognitive skills. Such can be used to track a child’s progress over time, which can help determine if current interventions and accommodations are effective or if changes need to be made to better support the child’s learning.
Diagnostics
To ensure that children with autism receive appropriate interventions and support as early as possible. It is required in order to access services and support, such as therapy and other special education services.
Language assessment
To identify if the child has problems swallowing, understanding language, forming words and sounds, using spoken language, or co-ordinating facial movements.
